Prior to this assignment, he served as the 4th Operational Medical Readiness Squadron Commander, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N. Colonel Orth also served as Commander, 8th Medical Operations Squadron, 8th Medical Group, 8th Fighter Wing, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea in a squadron of 86 members for over 2,800 active duty personnel.
